Privacy Policy

1.Who is responsible

This policy covers mahdidanadel.com, operated by Mahdi Danadel ("I," "me"). It explains what personal information the Site handles and the choices you have.

2.What I collect, and when

• Your name, email address, and the language you are learning, if you subscribe to the newsletter. The name and language are optional; only the email address is required. The newsletter is run by Kit (formerly ConvertKit), and this information is stored there. The language is saved as a tag so the emails you get are relevant to what you are actually studying.
• Contact form messages. If you use the contact form, the name, email address, subject, and message you type are emailed to me and also stored in a private database so a message is never lost if the email fails.
• Order information. Purchases are processed by Fourthwall, acting as merchant of record. I receive order details such as your email and the item purchased. I never receive or store your card number.
• That is the complete list. The Site runs no analytics, no advertising pixels, and no third-party trackers.

3.What I use it for

• Delivering what you purchased or requested, and supporting your order.
• Sending the newsletter, if you subscribed. Every email has a one-tap unsubscribe.
• Replying to messages you send me.

4.Who else touches it

A small number of service providers operate parts of this Site on my behalf. Each processes information only as needed to provide its service:

• Cloudflare, which hosts the Site and stores contact-form messages.
• Fourthwall, which handles checkout and payment for Digital Products as merchant of record.
• Kit (formerly ConvertKit), which stores newsletter subscriptions and sends the newsletter.
• Resend, which delivers contact-form messages to my inbox.

I do not sell or rent personal information to anyone, and I have never done so.

5.Cookies

The Site itself sets no tracking cookies. The newsletter signup form is served by this site directly and sets no cookies; it uses your browser's own storage only to remember that you have already seen or completed the signup, so you are not asked twice. Essential cookies may be set by the checkout platform during a purchase on its own pages.

6.How long I keep things

Newsletter subscriptions: until you unsubscribe. Contact messages: as long as needed to handle the conversation. Order records: as long as needed for support, accounting, and legal obligations.

7.Your rights

Depending on where you live, including under the GDPR in Europe and the CCPA and CPRA in California, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your personal information. I honor these requests regardless of where you live: use the contact page and I will respond within 30 days.

8.Where the data lives

I operate from the United States, and service providers may store data in the United States or other countries where they operate. Using the Site from elsewhere means you consent to that transfer.

9.Minors

The Site sells to the general public. If you are under 18, a parent or guardian should make the purchase. I do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13; if you believe a child has provided information, contact me and I will delete it.

10.Security

The Site is served over HTTPS. Payment data is handled entirely by the payment platform and never reaches me. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, but the amount of personal data this Site touches is deliberately minimal.

11.Changes

If this policy changes materially, the date above changes and the new version applies from posting.
